WE BELIEVE CHILDREN BELONG IN FAMILIES
THE CRISIS
More than 5.6 million children in Ethiopia are missing one or both parents. In 2018, inter-country adoption was banned, but there is not yet a strong culture of domestic foster care or adoption.
THE CYCLE
Vulnerable children often end up trapped in institutional care. Those aging out of orphanages are at high risk for unplanned pregnancy. The resulting child often is abandoned in an orphanage, continuing the cycle.
THE SOLUTION
We believe each orphaned or vulnerable child should be placed in a FAMILY through one of these ways: reunification, kinship placement, foster care, domestic adoption and/or small
group homes.

Transforming the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Ethiopia in and through the local community.
REACHING AND REDEEMING
CHILDREN
Taking children out of government institutional care and placing them into family-based care through our small-group homes.
COMMUNITY
Educating, inspiring, and mobilizing Ethiopian citizens to be the local solution for orphaned and vulnerable children.
CULTURE
Challenging individuals and churches to champion the growing movement of domestic foster care and adoption.
